Andrew Fraser Joins IRAA

IRAA is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Fraser as our new General Manager. 

IRAA, has named Andrew Fraser – better known as ‘Frase’ – as its new general manager. Frase is responsible for IRAA’s day to day operations, for liaising with the local regional, state and national rugby communities and our stakeholders, and for the charting of IRAA’s programs. 

Frase is a former Detective with over 19 years in the New South Wales Police Force and brings a broad range of experience to his new role. 

His relationship with rugby is deep and passionate. Frase has coached, played, and worked in various administrative roles in rugby clubs across New South Wales and Canberra for the last 30 years.

Last year he coached with the Hunter Wildfires in the Shute Shield and this year is working with the Bond University First grade side as an assistant coach.

Frase is also the creator of ‘RugbyPalooza’ and established the Dolphins Academy in the Far North Coast at Lennox Head in New South Wales. He served as a board member with the ACT Brumbies in the late 1990’s and was a club captain of the Tuggeranong Vikings from 1997 to 1999.
